Planning Applications

Planning applications need to be submitted to the Council with sufficient information and details to make it valid. A valid application for planning permission requires particular details to be submitted in line with both national and local information requirements. This includes relevant application forms, scaled plans and drawings, the correct application fee and in some cases a Design and Access Statement and Planning Statement. A Planning Statement helps to effectively set out how a proposal meets national and local planning policies. For example, proposals in the Green Belt where specific criteria needs to be satisfied in accordance with Green Belt policy.

We aim to offer a comprehensive service and prepare and submit all types of full and outline planning applications with associated plans and documents including Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements:

  • House extensions
  • New dwellings
